Rivamist (Riva) Gardner-Murfin
As a native Austinite and a hairstylist for nearly 20 years, Rivamist knows how to capture the array of styles that make Austin cool.
After receiving her initial training here in Austin, Rivamist honed her skills in a stylish south Austin salon. She then took her talent to the San Francisco area, where she furthered her work experience and education. She is always keeping herself abreast of current trends and techniques by attending advanced classes in color, cutting, styling, and smoothing treatments.
While her range is everything from classic to avant garde, her main passion is to help you look and feel your best. Let Rivamist bring out the best in your hair.

Blake Richard
Blake has traveled the world not only as a hairstylist and makeup artist but as a theatrical performer. Taking him to many cities within Italy, France, Portugal, England, Spain, Norway, Ireland, Mexico and the U.S. Blake has performed on some of the most incredible and monumental stages. Transpiring from his life-long dance background, Blake has an innate skill and drive of producing amazing shapes in hairstyling with precision in detail and a focus on the quality of movement. He enjoys creating masterful cuts and color for his clientele while aiming to touch, move, and inspire everyone in his presence. Blake believes knowledge is power and change is exciting.

Courtney (CJ) Shonk
As an Austin native, Courtney (CJ) Shonk advances in changing trends and classic styles of the cities artistic culture. Her 27 years of experience as a stylist has allowed her extensive in- salon work as well as special projects and events, including: SXSW interactive parties, fashion shows, photo shoots, music, videos, and short films.
Courtney (CJ) spent her first 10 years in a high-end salon joining the assistant program as an educator after just one year. For the last 17 years, she has been working as an independent stylist. Courtney now specializes in Brazilian blowouts, haircuts, Wella color, gray coverage and blending, highlights and balayage.
Her passion and goal is to provide the best possible personalized style and salon experience for you.

Brooke Wolfe
With over 20 years of experience, Brooke is a seasoned professional known for her precision, creativity, and commitment to making clients look and feel their best. She is highly trained in cutting and coloring techniques, with advanced education from industry leaders including Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, and Toni & Guy.
As one of the first stylists in Austin to be certified by Brazilian Blowout, Brooke brings a forward-thinking approach to smoothing treatments. She also has a deep appreciation for working with curly textures, offering tailored solutions that celebrate natural hair.
Brooke is especially known for what she calls “The Perfect Blonde.” From bright, bold transformations to subtle, sun-kissed balayage, she combines expert technique with an artistic eye to create color that enhances and elevates. Her balayage method is uniquely her own—refined over years of hands-on experience.

Hi, I'm Nicole Coose, a proud native of Austin and a seasoned hair stylist with 29 years of experience in six of the city's top salons. I’m excited to start my new journey with Luxe Collective.
